Ojon Conditioning Finishing Paste: A Wild Product to Tame Wild Hair?

I have thick hair that tends to get dry, frizzy, and full of those annoying fly-aways that seem to have minds of their own. And for whatever reason, I’ve always had trouble finding a product that can tame my hair’s natural wildness. In fact, I think many of the products I’ve tried have only made my hair worse: drier, more damaged-looking, and more difficult to handle.

That’s why I decided to try Ojon Conditioning Finishing Paste. I’d heard good things about it, and there are many positive reviews online, but I was skeptical. Would it really work, or would it be just like those hundreds of products that had failed me in the past?

I’ve been hearing about Ojon hair products for a while, and I’ve even tried a few of them. Apparently, they’re made from some sort of secret rainforest tree. I used the Ultra Hydrating Shampoo for a while last year. It worked pretty well, but sometimes the economic realities of life make it so that you can’t use your favorite products. Yes, Ojon products are not the cheapest out there, so they may not be the best choice for times when you’re in a financial pinch.

Fortunately, I was recently in a position to reward myself with a new product, so I went out and got a 3.36 ounce jar of Ojon Conditioning Finishing Paste. At around $25, that’s about $7 per ounce, which isn’t bad considering that products like this can be stretched out to last a long time. Especially since my hair is only medium in length, it’s not necessary to use more than a couple of fingertips full of the stuff. It’s been a few weeks, and I don’t think I’ve used even a third of the jar yet. So, $25 for a product that will probably last up to 4 or 5 months is not bad at all.

I used it in the morning, after shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying my hair. The directions say to rub a “pea-sized amount between the palms” and to apply evenly throughout the hair. You’re also supposed to warm it between your hands prior to applying it, so I took this advice to heart and made sure the paste was good and warm before doing anything with it. I used a very conservative amount, and I must say, each little dab of paste went quite a long way.

The results? Ojon Conditioning Finishing Paste gave my dry hair a nice, balanced shape and a soft texture that lasted for most of the day. I kept worrying throughout the day that the effects were going to fade, so I was checking the mirror every 30 minutes or so, expecting the worst. But in the end, my hair stayed shiny, and the style held almost until bed time.

My final verdict on Ojon Conditioning Finishing Paste: It’s good. It may not be the cheapest conditioning paste, but it does seem to deliver everything it promises. It restores dry hair, it creates a full, shiny texture, and it makes hair less frizzy and easier to manage.
